Job summary

KidsCare by Babilou Family, based in Luxembourg, is seeking an Educator-Assistant for a fixed-term contract in Bertrange. You will welcome children, support daily routines, and promote their development in a safe, nurturing environment.

You will work as part of a team, contributing to the educational project and upholding health, hygiene, and safety procedures while employing the Éducation Durable® approach.

Qualifications

• Qualification to work as childcare assistant in Luxembourg.
• Fluency in French required; other languages are a plus.
• Relevant diplomas or recognised equivalent qualifications.

Responsibilities

• Welcome and support children and families with care.
• Assist children in daily routines and development.
• Ensure safety and well‑being while respecting individual pace.

Your Responsibilities

• You welcome and support children and their families with care and kindness.
• You support children in their daily routines, independence and early development.
• You ensure their safety and well-being while respecting their individual pace and needs.
• You take part in age-appropriate activities that support their development and interests.
• You contribute to the educational project and promote Kidscare best practices.
• You work as part of the team and contribute to the smooth daily running of the centre, in compliance with health, hygiene and safety procedures.

Your Profile

• You hold a qualification allowing you to work as a childcare assistant in Luxembourg (CAP AEPE, BTS Sanitaire et Social, BEA training, DAP Auxiliary Care, DEAP, eligible Bachelor or Bachelor's degree, or an equivalent recognised qualification).
• You are fluent in French; English, Luxembourgish and any other language are considered an asset.
• You are caring, attentive and enjoy working as part of a team.
• You are dynamic, organised, adaptable and motivated by supporting young children.
