Job summary

UNESCO in Paris invites applications for an Associate Project Officer in the Education 2030 Division to strengthen gender equality and inclusion in education. You will support evidence gathering, data integration and monitoring, and coordinate cross-portfolio activities with international partners.

Requires an advanced university degree in Education or related fields and up to 2 years of relevant experience.

Qualifications

Advanced degree in Education, Gender, Social Sciences or related field.
Up to 2 years of relevant work experience in gender equality and education.
Excellent writing, research and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and follow-up on decisions.
Ability to coordinate and work in teams.

Responsibilities

Support gender-related follow-up to the Transforming Education Summit (TES) and evidence sharing.
Contribute to cross-national data on gender equality and education for post-2030.
Coordinate curriculum work under the 3G MapED project and indicator development.
Support internal UNESCO communities of Practice on Gender Equality and education.
Assist in capacity-building of UNESCO colleagues in field and HQ.
Provide technical inputs on gender equality and education in programming.
Support monitoring, reporting and fundraising efforts.
