Job summary

Cailabs is creating a new Editorial Strategy Manager position within our Marketing and Product team. Reporting to the Chief Product Officer & Deputy CEO, you will translate strategic priorities into a clear, distinctive editorial strategy and coordinate contributions from internal teams to bring topics from concept through publication.

Responsibilities

• Define priority messages based on target audiences and communication channels.
• Build a consistent editorial calendar around announcements, events, customer proof points, product developments, and market topics.
• Determine which topics should be prioritized, postponed, or not addressed.
• Ensure that every communication contributes to Cailabs’ overall positioning.
• Turn complex topics into clear, engaging communications with strong editorial direction.
• Define editorial angles and formats: articles, web pages, case studies, videos, carousels, social campaigns, press releases, event materials.
• Develop briefs that enable internal teams and external partners to work autonomously.
• Turn announcements or technical subjects into a consistent multi-channel content sequence.
• Challenge and refine angles, structures, or content for greater clarity and impact.
• Coordinate contributions from internal experts and manage input; brief and manage PR agencies and writers.
• Provide clear direction to teams involved in digital, audiovisual, and event content creation.
• Clarify responsibilities, approvals, and decisions for each topic; escalate high-impact issues when needed.
• Implement processes to move ideas to publication and continuously improve editorial operations.
• Draw insights from campaigns to improve future communications; identify missing proving points and formats.
