Job summary

Harmattan AI is seeking a Computer Vision Engineer to help build a global 3D object tracking pipeline, joining the Computer Vision Tracker team at an early stage. The role supports Lausanne, Paris, or Zurich locations, focusing on integrating CV, sensor fusion, and GNC tech into production-ready tracking systems.

You will work across teams to drive research, practical deployments, and optimization for real-time performance on edge devices, with opportunities to mentor teammates as needed.

Qualifications

• Strong proficiency in C++ and Python for real-time systems.
• Experience optimizing code for edge deployment in hardware-constrained environments.

Responsibilities

• Develop computer vision algorithms for object tracking across modalities.
• Fuse data from multiple sensors (cameras, IMU, radar) for high-precision tracking.
• Optimize tracking algorithms for edge devices with limited compute resources for real-time use.
• Collaborate with GNC, Sensor Fusion, and AI teams to integrate pipelines.
• Stay at the forefront of CV, tracking, and sensor fusion research and innovations.
• Mentor junior engineers where appropriate.
