Job summary

Servingschools in France seeks an Ed Tech III to collaborate with the Teacher in planning, preparing, and implementing classroom activities and field trips. You will engage parents through conferences, home visits, and meetings, and encourage classroom volunteer participation.

The position supports children’s physical, social, emotional and educational needs, using observations and IEPs to guide classroom planning and student outcomes, while assisting with meals, bus monitoring, and reports.

Qualifications

  • 1-2 years of experience working with children in a child care setting.
  • Classroom in Early Childhood Education.
  • Planning for individual needs.

Requirements

Experience and Skill Requirements: The following experience and skill requirements are considered essential:

Experience
  • 1-2 years of experience working with children in a child care setting required
  • Classroom in Early Childhood Education
  • Planning for individual needs

  • Use Microsoft Office applications and other computer software as applicable to the position
  • Communicate with and relate to young children
  • Work with a diverse population
Education and Knowledge Requirements
  • Associate's Degree in Early Childhood, or in a related field with at least 36 credits in ECE; Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Ed Tech III certification
  • BHP may be required
  • Head Start Performance Standards
  • Child Care License regulations
  • First Aid and CPR certification
Other Requirements
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule
  • Must pass required background checks
  • Must hold current C.H.R.C.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and provide proof of insurance
