Santander Corporate & Investment Banking (Santander CIB) is seeking an Associate/VP in Export & Agency Finance based in Paris. You will originate, structure, and execute ECA-backed financing and agency-supported transactions for French, Benelux, and Irish clients, collaborating with ECAs, sponsors, and multilateral bodies.

You will engage with corporate clients, internal stakeholders, and risk teams to deliver tailored financing solutions across cross-border trade and infrastructure projects.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in export finance or project finance.
• Experience with ECAs and agency-backed financing.
• Knowledge of Eastern Europe borrowers desirable.
• Fluency in French and English; Spanish optional.

Responsabilités

• Identify and originate ECA-backed and agency financing opportunities with clients.
• Lead term sheet negotiation and preparation of credit memos.
• Contribute to business strategy, pipeline, and product innovation.
• Monitor market trends, regulatory developments, and ECA program changes.
• Develop and maintain relationships with corporate clients, sponsors, ECAs, and banks.
• Support end-to-end execution up to financial close for complex transactions.
