CNRS Gulliver laboratory at ESPCI Paris (Université PSL) seeks a talented PhD student to develop the next generation of DNA computers capable of processing large molecular databases. The project combines molecular programming, microfluidics, and engineering to design sophisticated algorithms for exploring information encoded in DNA-based graphs.

The position is fully funded by CNRS and based at ESPCI Paris.

Qualifications

• The candidate should hold a PhD in computer science, molecular biology or a related field.
• Strong background in molecular programming, synthetic biology, computer science, microfluidics or related areas.
• Motivation to work across biology, computation and engineering.

Responsabilités

• Plan and execute biochemical experiments and assemble biochemical reaction networks.
• Design and implement biochemical circuits to answer specific queries.
• Analyze data and provide regular updates and scientific communications.
