United Way of the West Shore seeks a School Resource Advocate to serve multiple school districts in Michigan. This salaried, exempt role is on-site at each district and involves coordinating with students, families, and school staff to support positive outcomes.

The ideal candidate holds a bachelor’s degree in a related field and 3–5 years of relevant experience, with strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Travel between districts is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred in education, social work, human services, public health, counseling, psychology, or related field.
• Three to five years of experience in education, health, human services, social services, or related field preferred.
• Strong communication, organizational, collaboration, and problem-solving skills; ability to build relationships with students, families, school personnel, and community partners.

Responsabilités

• The School Resource Advocate is an employee of United Way of the West Shore and works on-site at the school districts to which they are hired.
• Travel between school and community locations as needed.
