European Space Agency in Paris seeks a Head of the Industrial Policy and Auditing Department to define and implement the Agency's industrial and audit policies, foster relations with industry, and evaluate space programme socioeconomic impact. You will integrate industrial knowledge across the CFO Directorate and coordinate with Member/Cooperating States.

The role requires a master’s degree and 15+ years of relevant experience, with mobility within ESA and external partners.

Qualifications

• Strong analytical skills.
• Knowledge of the ESA institutional framework and space sector.
• Knowledge of ESA programmes, policies and procedures.
• Knowledge of industrial and procurement policies.
• Experience in space programme management.
• Ability to manage multiple interfaces with various entities and stakeholders.
• Knowledge of the European space industry.

Responsabilités

• Fostering relations with the European space industry and associations.
• Coordinate and implement industrial policy across programmes.
• Define and manage the geographical return policy for contracts.
• Prepare interim and formal reviews of contract distribution and policy recommendations.
• Collaborate with Member States on policy and programme alignment.
• Develop and implement industrial cost audit policies and analyses.
• Coordinate with non-Member States and the EU for policy implementation.
• Conduct socio-economic studies to evaluate programme impact.
• Advance integration of new Member States and cooperate with directorates.
