Anotech is seeking a Dimensional Control Surveyor for a major offshore energy project in Europe. You will perform precise dimensional surveys, verify positions against drawings, control tolerances, and produce survey reports for offshore installation campaigns.

The role is 100% offshore with a 5 weeks on / 5 weeks off rotation and a minimum 1-year duration, starting as soon as possible. Requires 5+ years of offshore surveying experience, BOSIET/CAEBS, GWO, and fluency in English.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Dimensional Control Surveyor or similar in offshore projects.
• Education in Surveying, Geomatics, or Topography.
• Proficient with SC4W software.
• Valid BOSIET (OPITO) and CAEBS certificates.
• GWO certification valid before mobilization.
• Offshore medical fitness certificate.
• Fluent English in writing and speaking.

Responsabilités

• Perform precise dimensional surveys of offshore structures and components.
• Verify the actual position of installed assets against drawings and specs.
• Control alignment, inclination, orientation, elevations and tolerances.
• Identify deviations or deformations from design requirements.
• Verify interfaces between modules for proper fit-up and assembly.
• Produce accurate survey reports and quality documentation.
• Acquire, process and validate survey data with traceability.
• Support offshore teams with technical survey recommendations.
• Work autonomously while coordinating with installation and engineering teams.
• Ensure compliance with procedures, standards and QHSE requirements.
• Participate in safety briefings and offshore certifications.
• Contribute to successful offshore installation campaigns.

A major offshore renewable energy project is currently underway in Europe, supporting the development of large-scale offshore wind infrastructure.

To support ongoing offshore installation activities, we are looking for 2 Dimensional Control Surveyors to join the project team. This role is essential to ensuring the accurate positioning, alignment, and dimensional verification of offshore structures throughout installation operations.

Position Overview

As a Dimensional Control Surveyor, you will be responsible for acquiring, processing, and reporting dimensional control and positioning data for offshore structures. You will ensure that installed components comply with design specifications, tolerances, and project requirements while supporting safe and efficient offshore operations. This role is based 100% offshore with a 5 weeks on / 5 weeks off rotation and the mission is expected to last a minimum of 1 year, starting as soon as possible.

Key Responsibilities

Dimensional Control & Survey Activities

• Perform precise dimensional surveys of offshore structures and components.
• Verify the actual position of installed assets against engineering drawings and project specifications.
• Control alignment, inclination, orientation, elevations, and dimensional tolerances.
• Identify deviations, discrepancies, or deformations from design requirements.
• Verify interfaces between modules and structures to ensure proper assembly and fit-up.Produce accurate survey reports and quality documentation.

Survey Data Management

• Acquire, process, and validate survey and positioning data.
• Ensure the integrity, traceability, and accuracy of survey deliverables.
• Maintain detailed records of survey activities and measurements.
• Support project teams with technical survey expertise and recommendations.

Operational Support & Compliance

• Work autonomously while coordinating with offshore installation and engineering teams.
• Ensure compliance with project procedures, industry standards, and QHSE requirements.
• Participate in safety briefings and maintain all required offshore certifications.
• Contribute to the successful execution of offshore installation campaigns.

Requirements

• Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience as a Dimensional Control Surveyor, Offshore Surveyor, or similar role within offshore construction, renewable energy, or Oil & Gas projects.
• Education: Surveying, Geomatics, Topography, or related technical background.
• Technical Skills: Strong proficiency with SC4W software.
• Offshore Certifications: Valid BOSIET (OPITO) and CAEBS certificates.
• GWO Certification: Mandatory (must be valid before mobilization).
• Medical: Valid Offshore Medical Fitness Certificate.
• Language: Fluent English, both written and spoken.
