Airbus Helicopters SAS in Marignane is seeking a Database Administrator (f/m/d) to join Infrastructure Technologies. You will manage production, development and test environments for ORACLE, SQL Server, PostgreSQL and other DB technologies across platforms and cloud services.

You will collaborate with system architects to meet performance requirements, perform backups and restores, and contribute to high availability in critical Airbus helicopter applications.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience managing ORACLE, SQL Server or PostgreSQL.
• English fluency; ability to work with international teams.

Your future missions :

You will be part of a team managing different Database Technologies supported by the Airbus Helicopters’ Hosting & Cloud Services - Infrastructure Technologies.

Your main missions will be :

• Manage and optimize production, development and test environments for ORACLE, SQL Server, PostgreSQL and other DB technologies.


• Collaborate with System Architects to ensure the database layer meets the rigorous performance requirements.


• Perform regular maintenance, including backups, restores, and statistics calculations to ensure high availability


• Support and backup the database product manager.


• Maintain databases of critical applications of Airbus helicopters (e.g. 3DEXPERIENCE)

Your profile :

• Master degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.


• Minimum 3 years of professional experience in management of ORACLE, SQL Server or PostgreSQL databases.


• Knowledge in scripting languages to develop automation and analysis.


• Proficiency in creating and managing technical documentation.


• Curious, open-minded, collaborative team player with strong communication skills.


• Autonomous, organized, delivery/customer-oriented, technology enthusiast and crisis facing robustness.


• Experience working on projects with international teams and stakeholders.


• Fluency in English (working language). German is a plus.
