A leading consulting company is seeking a Regulatory Affairs professional in Lyon. Qualifications

Are you a business school graduate with a focus and interest in Change Management, Strategy & Innovation?

Have you worked in a consulting environment and are keen to enrich this experience by working in industry for a global Chemical Manufacturer?

We are currently hiring for an exciting role in our client’s Regulatory Affairs team. In a context of global expansive transformation projects, we are looking for a profile just like yours for a fixed term contract of 18 months.

In this position, you will be at the forefront of transforming regulatory processes, driving the implementation of innovative solutions, and will be contributing significantly to projects that streamline the management of compliance data, documentation, and workflows across the organization.

This role is particularly suited for you if you have enjoyed transformation and strategy projects in a consulting environment, and want to expand further in a global corporate and manufacturing environment, with a true opportunity to apply strategic and innovative thinking to regulatory operations.

Your Key Missions
  • Support the transformation of Regulatory Affairs by designing and implementing tools, dashboards, and process automations.
  • Assist in creating internal platforms and smart agents to streamline document handling, compliance tracking, and regulatory submissions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Regulatory, R&D, Quality, IT, and external consultants to co-build digital solutions.
  • Contribute to workflow optimization using agile methodologies and BPMN, improving visibility on timelines, tasks, and progress.
  • Help maintain and improve regulatory data systems (REACH, CLP, SDSs, product registration databases).
  • Assist in preparing reports, project documentation, and visual summaries of regulatory metrics and project health.
  • Explore and implement new technologies (e.g., AI, automation, low-code tools) to support regulatory operations.
Your Profile
  • Business School graduate (Strategy / Transformation / Business Management or potentially Data Science)
  • Consulting Internship background with additional 0 to 2 years’ professional experience in change management or strategic operations projects in a consulting / industrial environment.
  • Interest in regulatory processes, chemical industry standards, and how digital tools can enhance compliance.
  • Comfortable working with data and willing to learn tools such as Excel, Power BI, Python, or low-code platforms.
  • Strong communicator, organized, and motivated to work in a collaborative, international environment. Previous experience with multi-stakeholder project leadership valuable.
  • Fluent in English; additional languages (French, German, Spanish) are a plus.

The position is based in Lyon, full time for a duration of 18 months, with the possibility of this position being made permanent in the future.
