UNESCO Paris is seeking a Digitization Project Coordinator to lead day-to-day activities of a five-year digitization initiative within the DBS framework. The role involves coordinating budgets, timelines, and collaboration with internal teams and external partners to ensure timely delivery of digitized content and related outputs.

You will work closely with archivists, IT staff, and communications teams to support metadata standards, preservation workflows, and outreach efforts.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years of professional experience coordinating digitization projects or programmes.
• Experience in an institutional archive or library preferred.
• Ability to manage budgets, timelines and reporting across multi-year initiatives.

Responsabilités

• General budget and timeline management in collaboration with management and stakeholders.
• Ensures project documentation, donor reports, Steering Committee updates, and tracking tools.
• Plans day-to-day objectives, schedules, and budget monitoring with internal and external partners.
• Coordinates digitization operations and metadata workflows with Collection Leads and UNESCO staff.
• Supports communications, outreach activities, tours, and web publication efforts.
• Assists in partnership development and resource mobilization.
• Manages project evaluation and reporting throughout the duration of the project.
