Alta Ares is seeking an Engineering student for a DevOps internship to own infrastructure across cloud, bare metal and IoT. You will build automation, write IaC with Terraform and Ansible, and run Kubernetes workloads in a high‑stakes environment.

You’ll work with CI/CD pipelines on GitHub Actions, improve build and release workflows, and collaborate with software and ML teams to apply sound architecture across security and networking dimensions.

Qualifications

• Engineering student in Software, Networking or Cybersecurity, seeking a 6‑month internship or 1‑year apprenticeship.
• Solid scripting skills, with Python in particular.
• Good understanding of Docker and containerized environments; Kubernetes is a strong plus.
• Familiarity with CI/CD on GitHub or GitLab.
• Comfortable with Linux and exposure to cloud platforms is a plus.
• Professional working English; French-speaking candidates preferred.
• This role is on-site.

Responsabilités

• Build and maintain multi‑platform infrastructure across cloud, bare metal and IoT/edge devices.
• Write and improve infrastructure‑as‑code with Terraform, Ansible and Packer.
• Provision and operate Kubernetes workloads.
• Automate repetitive operational work so engineers can self‑serve.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines on GitHub Actions; improve release workflows.
• Contribute to tooling used by all engineering teams.
