Job summary

Symphony offers a 6‑month DevOps Internship starting March 2027, based in France. You will gain hands-on experience with cloud infrastructure, Kubernetes, and CI/CD automation while collaborating with SRE and DevOps engineers to design, implement, and optimize automation pipelines that ensure reliable software delivery.

The program emphasizes learning by doing, exposure to AWS/GCP, and practical tooling, with mentorship, and potential path to a full-time role based on performance.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Familiarity with scripting languages (Bash, Python).
• Familiarity with OOP languages (Java, C#, JavaScript).
• Experience with Git or other version control systems.
• Strong interest in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering, and automation.
• Problem-solving mindset with attention to detail.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Work with Docker and Kubernetes to deploy and manage applications.
• Support the setup and management of cloud environments (AWS, GCP).
• Assist in implementing Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible).
• Contribute to the design, development, and maintenance of CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins).
• Participate in monitoring, troubleshooting, and incident response to maintain system reliability.
• Collaborate with development teams to integrate applications into CI/CD workflows.
• Research and evaluate new DevOps tools and practices to improve automation and efficiency.
