Job summary

ALTEN is seeking a DevOps Engineer to enhance development and deployment workflows and ensure system reliability. You will design, improve, and implement automated services for deployment and management of applications.

You will collaborate with developers, system engineers, PMs, and DBAs to streamline deployments, manage incidents, and drive performance improvements across environments.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Experience as a DevOps Engineer is highly appreciated.

Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize tools and processes to support infrastructure.
• Automate repetitive tasks using scripting and DevOps tools.
• Collaborate closely with developers, system engineers, project managers, and database administrators to streamline deployments.
• Manage incidents and ensure quick resolution by analyzing root causes and implementing preventive measures.
• Participate in capacity planning, change management, incident/problem resolution, and continuous performance improvement.
