My client is seeking a DevOps Engineer for a long-term contract in France. The bulk of the work will be onsite in Strasbourg with 20% remote work, joining an international team on an interesting assignment.

Your tasks include developing tools and infrastructure to support Build & Deployment activities, managing and improving pipelines, and deploying to non-production environments. Strong knowledge of Git, Jenkins, Ansible, Artifactory, SonarQube, and OpenShift is required.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in IT or relevant field with at least 6 years of IT professional experience.
• At least 3 years of DevOps experience maintaining DevOps tools & platform.
• Strong understanding of the SDLC and Agile methodologies.
• Knowledge of automation tools for continuous integration and delivery.
• Familiarity with DevOps tools such as Git, Jenkins, Ansible, Artifactory, SonarQube, OpenShift.
• Scripting knowledge (Groovy).
• English language proficiency (verbal & written).

Your tasks and responsibilities as a DevOps Engineer

• Develop tools and infrastructure in order to support Build & Deployment activities.
• Manage, support, and improve Build and Deployment pipelines.
• Perform deployment activities to non-production environments.
• Effectively implement a DevOps strategy and associated processes.
• Configure shared services and tools, including Artifactory, SonarQube, Jenkins, Fortify, and GitHub.
• Perform any other related tasks and responsibilities necessary to support the Build, Release, and DevOps functions.

The skills and experience we are seeking in candidates

• Master's degree in IT or relevant field with at least 6 years of IT professional experience.
• At least 3 years of relevant professional experience in a DevOps role, involved in maintaining DevOps tools & platform.
• Thorough understanding of the SDLC and knowledge of Agile methodologies.
• Knowledge of automation tools used to implement continuous integration and continuous delivery.
• Working knowledge of known DevOps tools like Git, Jenkins, Ansible, Artifactory, SonarQube, OpenShift
• Knowledge of scripting languages (like Groovy).
• Knowledge of mobile device technologies (React Native, Xcode) and operating systems (Android, iOS) would be advantageous.
• Excellent command of the English language (verbal & written).
