Job summary

Lincoln International in Paris is offering a Capital Advisory internship on the Paris Debt Advisory team. You will be exposed to the structuring and execution of financing transactions, including acquisition financings, refinancings and amendments.

You will work with junior and senior bankers, perform credit analysis, contribute to financial models, and gain hands-on deal experience across industries.

Qualifications

• Candidates should have completed at least six months of prior internship experience in Debt Advisory, Leveraged Finance, M&A, Private Equity or Transaction Services.
• Strong attention to detail, intellectual curiosity and ability to work effectively in a demanding environment.
• Strong writing, verbal communication and computer skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and French are essential for success in this internship.

Responsibilities

• Performing company, industry and credit analysis.
• Contributing to financial models and debt specific analyses (leverage, cash flow, covenants, etc.).
• Contributing to the preparation of internal and external marketing materials, including financing presentations, information memoranda and lender materials.
• Identifying potential lenders.
• Conducting comparable transactions and financing research.
• Supporting process management, including the coordination of NDAs, release letters and other transaction documentation.
• Supporting the due diligence process and interactions with clients, lenders and other advisers.
• Contributing to the execution of transactions through to closing.
