Job ID: 10589622 | Amazon Data Services France SAS
AWS Infrastructure Services owns the design, planning, delivery, and operation of all AWS global infrastructure. In other words, we're the people who keep the cloud running. We support all AWS data centers and all of the servers, storage, networking, power, and cooling equipment that ensure our customers have continual access to the innovation they rely on. We work on the most challenging problems, with thousands of variables impacting the supply chain - and we're looking for talented people who want to help.
You'll join a diverse team of software, hardware, and network engineers, supply chain specialists, security experts, operations managers, and other vital roles. You'll collaborate with people across AWS to help us deliver the highest standards for safety and security while providing seemingly infinite capacity at the lowest possible cost for our customers. And you'll experience an inclusive culture that welcomes bold ideas and empowers you to own them to completion.
We are looking for a skilled Data Center Technician with a passion for technology to help us expand our cloud to the next level. You may be the primary point of contact for both internal teams (such as Network Engineers, Systems Engineers, and Software Developers) and external partners (Hardware Vendors, Contractors, and Service Providers). You'll be working in large-scale, high-density data centres where you'll help change the face of cloud technology in the region.
At AWS, career progression is part of our culture. Whether your path leads to Systems, Network, or Database Engineering, Software Development, AWS Support, Technical Operations, or Project Management, we'll work with you to create a development plan that helps you reach your goals — starting from Day One.
As a Data Center Technician, no two days are the same. You might start your morning reviewing support tickets and prioritising the day's interventions. From there, you could be installing new servers in racks, diagnosing a network issue, or performing preventive maintenance on critical equipment.
You’ll work at the heart of our infrastructure, collaborating with cross-functional teams - network engineers, operations managers, and vendors. Each day brings new technical challenges that allow you to grow your skills and have a direct impact on the reliability of AWS services used by millions of customers worldwide.
You’ll also have the opportunity to mentor colleagues, contribute to continuous improvement projects, and help shape the evolution of our practices and team. AWS provides assistive lifting equipment to support the physical aspects of the role, ensuring a safe and comfortable working environment for everyone.
