Scaleway in the Paris region is seeking a dedicated Datacenter IT Team Leader to maintain, diagnose, and repair IT hardware in high-density datacenters while setting technical standards and ensuring regional production KPIs.

You will assemble racks, perform optoelectronic testing, resolve hardware issues, and lead on-site coordination with internal teams and external service providers, ensuring SLA adherence and safe operations.

Competenze

• Strong experience as an IT Datacenter Technician with a first experience in team coordination or lead roles.
• Proficiency in server troubleshooting, hardware assembly, cabling, and optoelectronic testing (copper/fiber, reflectometer, optical tracer).
• Proficiency with Jira Service Management, Odoo and Google Sheets.
• Active B-category driver's license mandatory for site travel.

• Team Guidance & Quality Assurance: Serve as a technical role model on the ground, upholding operational excellence, enforcing best practices, and mentoring local technicians.
• Hardware Maintenance & Assembly: Assemble, rack, cable, and configure servers and hardware equipment within strictly regulated datacenter spaces.

WHY WE NEED YOU

Driven by our continuous growth and expanding infrastructure needs, we are seeking a dedicated Datacenter IT Team Leader to join our team.

Your core mission will be to maintain, diagnose, and repair IT hardware within our high-density datacenter environments while setting technical standards and ensuring regional production KPIs. You will assemble racks, perform optoelectronic testing (fiber, copper, reflectometer, optical tracer), resolve hardware issues, and lead by example on the field to protect Scaleway's operational interests.

YOUR FUTURE TEAM

• Your future management structure: You will report directly to the Datacenter IT Manager within the Datacenter Operation Management organization.
• Work Location & Environment: Full-time on-site position across our datacenter facilities in the Paris region, based in either our North cluster (Saint-Ouen-l'Aumône) or South cluster (Vitry-sur-Seine), with direct daily interaction with site suppliers and technical teams.
