X-FAB France is seeking an experienced Database Administrator (M/F/X) to join the IT team. You will ensure performance, security, and availability of critical databases while supporting digital transformation initiatives.

Work with IT, developers, and data scientists to design data models, install and maintain DBs, and implement backup, recovery, and archiving policies. You will optimize data platforms and ensure high availability across Linux/Unix and Windows environments.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree Bac+5 in IT or data engineering.
• Proven DBA or data infrastructure experience.
• Strong knowledge of data modeling, SQL, and automation scripting (Python, PowerShell).

• Develop conceptual, logical, and physical data models based on business needs.
• Define data infrastructure evolution roadmaps through technology watch.
• Install, configure, and maintain databases.

• Monitor performance, diagnose issues, and propose optimizations.

We are looking for an experiencedDatabase Administrator (M/F/X)to join the IT team at X-FAB France.

With your in-depth knowledge of database management systems, you will design, implement, and optimize critical data architectures for the company. You will be responsible for the performance, security, and availability of databases, while supporting business projects and the company’s digital transformation.

Your responsibilities :

• Work closely with IT teams, developers, data scientists, and business representatives
• Develop conceptual, logical, and physical data models based on business needs
• Conduct technology watch and define data infrastructure evolution roadmaps
• Install, configure, and maintain databases
• Apply security, backup, recovery, and archiving policies
• Ensure high availability, resilience, and scalability of data systems
• Monitor performance, diagnose issues, and propose optimizations

Your profile:

• Graduate from an engineering school or equivalent Bac+5 degree with a specialization in IT or data engineering
• Proven experience as a DBA, database architect, or data infrastructure expert
• Strong knowledge of data modeling, SQL languages, and automation scripts (Python, PowerShell…)

• Good understanding of business, security, performance, and service continuity issues
• Excellent communication skills in French and English (minimum B2 level), both written and spoken, to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders and ensure visibility of your actions and projects
