Job summary

Mirakl is seeking a Data Science Intern in Paris to join a ~70-person data science team. You will analyze data, prototype ML algorithms, collaborate with data engineers, and build dashboards to monitor impact.

The role focuses on industry-scale data and real-world deployment in Mirakl’s marketplace platform. You will work with Python, SQL, and deep learning frameworks, in a multilingual, international team with strong mentoring and opportunities to contribute to production-ready features.

Qualifications

• Currently in final year of a Master’s (Bac+5) in Computer Science or engineering.
• Familiar with data preparation techniques and feature engineering.
• Understanding of statistics, machine learning, and deep learning algorithms.
• Interest in industrialization and scaling of data science models beyond experimentation.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and prepare data for algorithm development.
• Prototype and iterate on algorithms with mentor support.
• Collaborate with Data Engineers to move solutions to production.
• Build dashboards to monitor performance in production.
• Present findings weekly to the team and contribute to tech watch initiatives.

Data Science Intern - January 20271. The Team You'll Join

You'll be part of our Data Science team, a group of around 70 data professionals working at the heart of Mirakl's platform. Together, you'll be making the most of rich and diverse marketplace data to grow customer revenue, optimize operations, and ensure the safety of users and transactions.

2. Your Impact

• Analyze and prepare data to ensure quality and relevance for algorithm development, following best practices for exploration and transformation

• Prototype and iterate on algorithms, testing and refining ideas with the support of your mentor and team

• Collaborate with Data Engineers to bring your solutions from experimentation to real-world production deployment

• Build dashboards to showcase the relevance of your work and monitor performance in production

• Present your findings weekly with the team, contributing to brainstorming sessions and tech watch initiatives

3. What You’ll Bring to the RoleExperience:

• Currently enrolled in the final year of a Master's (Bac+5) in Computer Science at an engineering school or university
