Qualifications

• Bachelor, Master or PhD in computer science, machine learning, applied statistics, mathematics, engineering or AI.
• Professional experience applying ML and data mining techniques to real problems with large datasets.
• Programming experience in ML-focused languages: Python and/or R (required); SPSS, SAS, Ruby; Hadoop valued.
• Ability to prototype statistical analyses and modeling algorithms for data-driven solutions in new domains.
• Ability to independently own and drive model development, balancing deadlines and requests.
• Demonstrated analytics aptitude and strong time management in autonomous work environments.
• Excellent presentation and communication skills; able to explain complex analytics to non-specialists.
• Willingness to travel; fluent in English and French.
