Job summary

WOAH (World Organisation for Animal Health) offers a six-month, full-time internship in Paris for a data science & AI pipelines project within DIAD. You will design, develop, and document workflows to manage animal health research needs, including extraction, summarisation, and publication of priorities, under supervision.

The role requires master's-level study in DS/CS/AI, strong Python/R skills, NLP/LLM experience and familiarity with data visualization tools.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a Master's (M1/M2) or final year of an engineering school in data science, computer science, statistics, AI or a related quantitative field.

Responsibilities

• Review the research needs database and build reproducible Python/R pipelines to ingest, clean, standardise and de-duplicate records; propose a data model and controlled vocabularies.
• Develop NLP and LLM pipelines to classify research needs, extract entities, detect duplicates, and cluster and summarise needs into consolidated priorities.
• Automate reports, dashboards or web-ready content; integrate with DIAD data platforms following WOAH IT security rules.
• Document pipelines, prompts and models, prepare a user guide and final internship report; hand over tools to teams.
