Jobtailor in Nice, France seeks a data engineering oriented professional to handle data collection, organization, and distribution across sites. You will annotate datasets, extract metadata, and prepare data for ML models, working with Python and Docker-based workflows.

Ideal candidates have strong SQL skills, are highly organized, and have experience with ML frameworks such as TensorFlow, Keras, or PyTorch; a science/engineering degree is preferred.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of Python, Bash, Docker and Docker-compose.
• Solid SQL knowledge for database creation and data storage.
• Very organized and comfortable handling large data volumes.
• Experience with ML frameworks (TensorFlow, Keras, PyTorch) is a plus.
• Prefer at least a bachelor-level degree in science or engineering; masters/PhD advantageous.

Overview

Overview all the data related tasks. Ensure all the recordings exist for each component. Collect and organise the data in an easily accessible way. Manage data distribution on multiple sites. Be aware of data recording restrictions by country. Manage annotations either by creating tools or organising campaigns. Extract meta data from datasets. Help prepare the data for more sophisticated ML models.

Requirements

• Good knowledge of Python, Bash, Docker, Docker-compose
• Knowledge of SQL to create a DB where the data will be stored and organised
• Very organised person used to work with huge amounts of data
• Experience on an ML framework like TensorFlow, Keras, and PyTorch will be a plus
• Prefer at least bachelors degree level in a science or engineering discipline. Masters or doctorate advantageous
