Job summary

Betclic, a European leader in online sports betting, seeks a Data Engineer to build and optimize data pipelines. You will work in an agile IT team with DBT Data Engineers and collaborate closely with Data Architects and Product Owners.

The role emphasizes automation, scalable architectures, and production-grade data flows using Snowflake, dbt Cloud, and CI/CD tooling. Hybrid work is offered with a dynamic, innovative environment in Bordeaux.

Qualifications

• Degree from an engineering/IT program (MIAGE or equivalent).
• Professional experience as Data Engineer, Data Ops, or ML Ops in a public cloud.
• Strong development skills with automation (CI/CD) and scripting.
• Focus on performance, reliability, maintainability and scalability in code and architecture.
• Proficiency in Python, Scala, or Java and experience with Infrastructure as Code.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop data transformation projects.
• Build the full transformation pipeline in the Snowflake data lake (Lakehouse and layers).
• Automate deployment of data pipelines with dbt Cloud and Jenkins CI/CD.
• Manage evolution and maintenance of proposed solutions.
• Write documentation for projects.
