Qualifications

• 8+ years experience in senior data or Microsoft roles (Team Lead, Architect, Senior Consultant).
• Self-driven learning through auto-education and tech-community events.
• Curiosity and the habit of daily technology watch.
• Design, modelling, and optimisation of databases; familiarity with Azure, MSBI, SQL Server, and AI concepts.
• Strong communication, teamwork, and ability to manage multiple projects in an agile environment.

Responsabilités

• Analyse and qualify clients’ business needs.
• Collaborate with business teams in data identification.
• Work in an agile environment, applying innovative approaches.
• Work with consultants and data engineers to ensure quality of deliverables
• Engage across BI, Big Data, Data Science, and AI domains
• Collaborate cross-functionally with UX/UI, software architects, cloud and DevOps teams
• Drive upskilling and act as interface between internal and external business teams in an agile setup

Your role

Microsoft Fabric is the new, cloud‑based data platform from Microsoft. It offers a unified experience for data integration, modelling and delivery around a Power BI‑style culture, branding itself as the “One Drive of Data”. Expertime was the first French partner to evangelise on the technology through Microsoft’s Fabric in a Day events.

• Analyse and qualify clients’ business needs and problem statements
• Participate in defining and implementing data solutions tailored to specific project contexts
• Collaborate with business teams in data identification and documentation
• Work with consultants and data engineering specialists on projects, ensuring quality of deliverables
• Engage across data domains: BI & Analytics, Big Data, Data Science, and AI
• Collaborate cross‑functionally with UX/UI, software architects, cloud and DevOps experts to design and deliver the most effective solutions
• Work in an agile environment, applying innovative approaches

Parallel responsibilities

You will also drive upskilling for colleagues and serve as the interface between internal and external business teams.

Technical stack you'll encounter at Expertime

Azure components (Data Factory, Database, Analysis Services, etc.), Power Query, Power BI, SQL, and Microsoft Fabric.

Your profile

Passionate about data, graduate from a technical school, with 8+ years experience in senior data or Microsoft roles (Team Lead, Architect, Senior Consultant).

• Mastery of on‑premise, cloud, and SQL architectures, ETL tools (Azure Data Factory or others), and data visualization
• Experience with Fabric projects
• Advanced knowledge of security, infrastructure, and networking in the cloud
• Design, modelling, and optimisation of databases
• Familiarity with Azure, MSBI, SQL Server, and AI concepts (Python, R, Machine Learning)
• Self‑driven learning through auto‑education, tech‑community events, and continuous improvement
• Curiosity and the habit of daily technology watch
• Strong communication to translate business needs into technical solutions
• Team‑player, autonomous, capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously
• Technical English for reading and writing documents
• Exellent written and verbal communication, pedagogical and adaptive to persuade stakeholders
