Ika Vision in Paris is seeking a Data Engineer to design, implement, and industrialize modern data platforms for its clients.

You'll work on data pipelines, data lakes, and data warehouses, with a strong emphasis on data quality, scalability, and collaboration with Data Science and BI teams. The role is hybrid, starting ASAP, with 2–3 days on site per week.

Ika Vision is hiring a Data Engineer to support its clients in the design, implementation, and industrialization of modern data platforms (Big Data, pipelines, data lakes, data warehouses).

Key Information

Location: Paris (hybrid depending on client)
Experience: 5+ years
Contract: Permanent (CDI) / Freelance (to be adjusted)
Remote work: 2 to 3 days per week
Start date: As soon as possible

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain reliable and scalable data pipelines.
• Collect, transform, and structure data from multiple sources.
• Implement data lakes and data warehouses.
• Ensure data quality, reliability, and availability.
• Optimize performance of batch and streaming processes.
• Collaborate with Data Science, BI, and business teams.
• Contribute to defining data architectures.
• Document data flows and best practices.

Profile (5+ years)

• Proven experience in Data Engineering (minimum 5 years).
• Strong proficiency in SQL and at least one programming language (Python / Scala).
• Experience with Big Data environments.
• Solid knowledge of Data Lake and Data Warehouse architectures.
• Comfortable with batch and streaming processing.
• Ability to work in a team and communicate with business stakeholders.
• Autonomous, rigorous, and analytical mindset.
