Google's Data Center Engineering team designs and maintains the company's data centers, advancing power efficiency and safety across facilities. You will be part of a lab-like environment collaborating with PMC, SPC, and ORs to deliver mechanical field engineering support.

You will oversee installation activities, ensure EH&S compliance, and work with authorities on inspections, while coordinating with engineers and project stakeholders to meet schedule and cost targets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field or equivalent practical experience.
• 3 years of experience managing construction projects in an international environment.
• Experience with data center equipment including switchgear, generators, controls, security monitoring systems, and fire safety systems.
• Experience in facility mechanical systems.

• Drive mechanical outcomes of high complexity and scope among stakeholders.
• Contribute to mechanical scoping and allocation of technical resources within the project.
• Provide technical leadership to the projects, ensure design, scope, schedule, quality, commissioning, and safety for mechanical discipline.
