Google in France seeks a Data Center Mechanical Engineer to provide field mechanical engineering support for campus projects, ensuring schedule, cost, quality, technical compliance and safety. You will serve as the primary contact between Google, PMC, SPC, coordinating with ORs and SPCs for all mechanical field efforts.

You will oversee SPC installation activities, ensuring EH&S and project requirements are met while maintaining strong stakeholder relationships.

Qualifications

• Experience in field mechanical engineering for large data-center projects.
• Ability to lead mechanical scope, schedule and safety.
• Experience coordinating with PMCs and SPCs on complex builds.

Responsabilités

• Drive mechanical outcomes of high complexity within projects.
• Contribute to mechanical scoping and resource allocation.
• Provide technical leadership for design, scheduling and safety.
• Offer feedback to partner teams on improvements.
• Troubleshoot advanced mechanical events and escalations.
• Develop cross-project procedures and align with teams.
• Interface with authorities on inspections and corrections.
