Cubiq Recruitment is seeking a Data Centre Operations Engineer to join an AI/GPU infrastructure project in Paris-Saclay. You will deploy, maintain and troubleshoot data-centre hardware within a high-density compute environment, working closely with HPC and network teams.
Fluent French and English at least B2 are required, with on-site work in Paris-Saclay. No visa sponsorship or relocation support is available.
We’re supporting the rapid expansion of a major new AI infrastructure operation in Paris‑Saclay and are looking for Data Centre Operations Engineers to join a growing engineering team.
This is a large‑scale, high‑density compute environment built around the latest generation of GPU infrastructure. The operation uses modern direct liquid cooling and high‑density power distribution, creating an opportunity to work with technology that is still relatively rare across conventional data centres.
Several engineers are being hired, so we’re interested in different levels of experience. You might be an experienced Data Centre Engineer with strong technical depth, or a hands‑on engineer looking to develop further into AI and GPU infrastructure.
You should have genuine hands‑on experience working within a data‑centre, HPC or similarly high‑density compute environment.
Experience in any of the following would be particularly interesting:
You do not need experience across all of these areas. Strong conventional data‑centre engineers who are genuinely interested in developing into AI infrastructure are encouraged to apply.
We’re particularly interested in engineers who demonstrate genuine technical curiosity. AI infrastructure is developing quickly, so we’d like to meet people who actively learn about the technology rather than simply operate what’s already in front of them.
€80,000 base salary DoE + 30% bonus
There may be flexibility for exceptional candidates with particularly relevant GPU, high‑density compute or liquid‑cooling expertise.
This is an opportunity to join an engineering team at an early stage of a substantial AI infrastructure expansion, working directly with some of the newest GPU, cooling and high‑density data‑centre technologies.
