Mistral AI is hiring a Datacenter HW Engineer to maintain, troubleshoot, and scale our GPU/CPU clusters in our Paris-area datacenter. You will execute hands-on hardware work, partner with DC operations, and ensure healthy performance as we grow one of France’s largest AI clusters.

We’re seeking candidates with hands-on datacenter experience, Linux fundamentals, and a practical mindset for safe rack operations.

Qualifications

• Hands-on mindset in datacenters/server hardware.
• Strong Linux fundamentals and scripting willingness.
• Able to install/re-seat hardware in racks and work cleanly.
• Disciplined with checklists and safety procedures.

Responsabilités

• Diagnose and operate core server/cluster components; replace faulty parts.
• Apply lockout/tagout (LOTO) and maintain safe work areas.
• Perform first-line diagnostics and document results.
• Maintain SOPs, dashboards, and preventive maintenance.
• Coordinate parts, RMAs, and vendor communications.
• Collaborate with hardware/firmware owners on complex issues.
• Keep audit-ready records and updated SOPs.
