Harmattan AI is seeking a Data Annotator on the Visual Navigation team to support autonomous defense systems. You will review large image datasets and apply precise annotations that feed training and validation of computer vision models.

You will collaborate with the Computer Vision, Data Architecture, and ML teams to ensure data meets rigorous standards for real-world deployment. Key requirements include a Baccalauréat or equivalent, meticulous attention to detail, and fluency in French

• Experience in data labeling or annotation is a plus.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Fluency in French required; English is a plus.

• Analyze, label, and annotate diverse image datasets to support AI model training and validation.
• Follow detailed annotation guidelines precisely, maintaining consistency across large batches.
• Review AI model outputs for accuracy and contextual relevance, flagging discrepancies.
• Perform annotation peer-review to ensure consistency and quality.
• Communicate findings and edge cases to AI and Data Engineering teams.
• Occasionally support field test campaigns to help with on-site data collection.

About the Role

As a Data Annotator within the Visual Navigation team, you work at the foundation of how our autonomous systems interpret their environment. You review large volumes of image datasets and apply precise, consistent annotations that directly feed the training and validation of our computer vision and machine learning models. You collaborate closely with our Computer Vision, Data Architecture, and Machine Learning teams to ensure the data you deliver meets the rigor required for real-world deployment.

Responsibilities

• Analyze, label, and annotate diverse image datasets to support the training and validation of our AI models.

• Follow detailed annotation guidelines precisely, maintaining consistency across large batches of work.

• Review AI model outputs for accuracy and contextual relevance, flagging discrepancies against expected results.

Candidate Requirements
