Job summary

Source One Technical Solutions, LLC supports a client preparing to open Paris's next iconic destination where art, architecture, technology, hospitality and entertainment blend to create a unique visitor experience.

The Cybersecurity Engineer will maintain security and network systems, monitor for breaches, investigate incidents, and help document security procedures within the IT department during the launch phase.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of IT experience including at least 2+ years in cyber or information security.
• Strong knowledge of TCP/IP networking, DNS, DHCP, NAT, VPNs, network segmentation and security best practices.
• Hands‑on experience with Layer 2/3 networking: VLANs, STP, OSPF, BGP, SD-WAN and inter‑VLAN routing.
• Experience with anti-virus software, intrusion detection systems, firewalls, and content filtering.
• Familiarity with cabling standards, fiber optics, and network racks.
• Knowledge of risk and vulnerability assessment tools and methods.
• Ability to analyze packet captures and network traffic with troubleshooting tools.
• Experience in incident response and forensics tools.
• Ability to document network diagrams, standards, and SOPs.
• Understanding of latest security principles, techniques, and protocols.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, administer, and operate cybersecurity and network systems.
• Support day-to-day Information Security efforts within IT, including monitoring networks for breaches and investigating incidents.
• Troubleshoot and resolve LAN/WAN/wireless/network-cloud issues.
• Identify risks and mitigate with stakeholders and IT.
• Support fraud prevention and detection related to cybersecurity.
• Develop and maintain security documentation and SOPs.
• Provide expertise for IT projects and security initiatives.
• Plan, test, implement, and validate infrastructure changes.
• Engage in problem solving and process improvement.
• Contribute to security awareness programs for employees.
