Job summary

SUMMIT Paris is seeking a Cybersecurity Engineer to join a launch team for a flagship immersive destination. You will maintain and optimize its cybersecurity and network infrastructure, monitor for threats, and collaborate with IT stakeholders to mitigate risks.

Strong communication in English and French is required. Ideal candidates bring 5+ years IT experience with at least 2 years in security, plus hands-on expertise with LAN/WAN, VPNs, firewalls, and RF wireless security.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years IT experience, incl. 2+ years in cyber security.
• Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, NAT, VPNs, segmentation.
• Hands-on with VLANs, STP, OSPF, BGP, SD-WAN, inter-VLAN routing.
• Experience with antivirus, IDS/IPS, firewalls, content filtering.
• Familiar with cabling standards, fiber, and rack deployments.
• Knowledge of risk and vulnerability assessment tools.
• Ability to analyze packet captures and network traffic.
• Incident response experience and forensics tools.
• Documentation of diagrams, standards, and procedures.
• Understanding of latest security principles and RF wireless tech.
• Strong problem-solving under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and operate cybersecurity and network systems for Summit Paris.
• Monitor networks for security breaches and investigate incidents.
• Troubleshoot LAN/WAN/Wi-Fi/cloud networks.
• Identify risks and mitigate with stakeholders and IT.
• Support fraud prevention and cybersecurity for products/services.
• Maintain security knowledge and propose controls.
• Provide security awareness trainings and communications.
• Contribute to IT projects with cybersecurity input.
• Plan, test, and validate infrastructure changes.
• Document SOPs and security protocols.
• Engage in process improvements and strategic planning.
