The European Solar Academy, led by InnoEnergy, is driving one of Europe’s most important missions: building the skilled workforce that will power our solar future. We bring together the best in training, industry, and policy to ensure skills match market needs, scale world-class learning across the solar value chain, and close critical gaps with content designed for real-world impact.

This is a fixed-term role, fully dedicated to the Academy, with a mandate to make a lasting impact before the project’s conclusion on 27 February 2027.

The successful contract will be employed up until the end of February 2027 and leave will be included. There are certain other regional benefits depending on where the candidate is based.

Job Summary

The Customer Success Manager ensures the successful adoption, satisfaction, and long-term retention of customers using InnoEnergy’s educational and skills-based solutions. This role acts as the primary liaison between InnoEnergy and its customers, providing support, guidance, and value-driven engagement throughout the customer lifecycle. The Customer Success Manager will work closely with product, marketing, sales, and technical teams to ensure customers are achieving their desired outcomes and continuously gaining value from our offerings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Guide new customers through onboarding processes to ensure smooth implementation and early success.
  • Develop and execute tailored success plans to align with each customer's strategic objectives.
  • Conduct regular check-ins and business reviews to monitor satisfaction, usage, and progress toward goals.
Customer Relationship Management
  • Serve as the main point of contact for a portfolio of customers, developing trusted relationships at both executive and operational levels.
  • Address inquiries, resolve issues promptly, and coordinate with internal teams to ensure swift and effective responses.
  • Foster long-term relationships that encourage renewals, upselling, and advocacy.
Project and Process Management
  • Collaborate with internal teams to support customer-focused projects and initiatives.
  • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, progress, and feedback using CRM tools.
  • Identify areas of improvement in customer experience and propose enhancements to internal processes.
Customer Advocacy & Feedback Loop
  • Collect and relay customer feedback to product, marketing, and development teams for continuous product improvement.
  • Advocate for customer needs within InnoEnergy to ensure alignment with strategic goals and product development.
  • Coordinate customer participation in testimonials, case studies, or pilot programs.
Data Analysis & Reporting
  • Monitor customer usage patterns, support metrics, and satisfaction scores to identify trends and at-risk customers.
  • Use data-driven insights to proactively engage and support customers.
  • Prepare detailed reports for internal stakeholders on customer health, retention, and engagement performance.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Communication, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a customer success manager and in managing customer projects within a customer-facing role is a must.
  • Experience in account management or project management is a plus.
  • Fluency in English and French is required to effectively support our diverse customer base across Europe. Strong understanding of SaaS or learning platform delivery models is a plus.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in CRM and customer success platforms (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot or equivalent).
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and work in a cross-functional environment.
  • Knowledge of renewable energy or sustainability-related sectors is desirable.
