Dollar Tree in Metairie, LA is seeking a part-time Customer Service Associate to assist customers, handle sales transactions, and maintain store upkeep. You will unload merchandise, stock shelves, and ensure a clean, safe shopping environment.

The role requires strong customer service, good communication, and physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Prior retail experience is preferred; training will be provided and responsibilities may adapt to business needs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment is highly preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents is required.
• Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs. from floor to above shoulder height and meet demands of frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and repetitive lifting.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills are required.
• Strong organizational and communication skills are required.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills are required.
