What you’ll do

As a Customer and Billing Accounting Manager at Eutelsat Group, you will play a pivotal role in managing our financial operations, ensuring accuracy, and supporting our growth.

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Responsible for customer invoicing (billing, credit notes, intercompany transactions, cash receipts and reconciliations).
• Lead all accounting operations related to the group’s accounts receivable (billing), including managing receivables while ensuring compliance with accounting and tax standards.
• Ensure the preparation and coordination of monthly and annual financial closings, ensuring that all customer transactions are accurately recorded and reporting deadlines are met. (Accrued income, accrued expenses, provisions and reconciliation balance sheet accounts).
• Participate in the implementation or enhancement of IT systems (SAP HANA, Salesforce) and reporting ad hoc projects.
• Serve as the main point of contact for subsidiaries and internal departments for all intercompany transaction-related matters, ensuring consistency in accounting practices across the group. Facilitate smooth communication and effective coordination of accounts receivable processes within the group.
• Management and support of an international team in France and in the UK.
• Actively contribute to both internal and external audits by providing necessary information on accounts receivable and ensuring compliance with local and international accounting and tax regulations.

Profile Sought

• Fluent in English (both oral and written) is mandatory.
• Bac+3 to Bac+5 in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent.
• Significant experience of minimum 5 years in general accounting, billing and team leadership.
• Knowledge of French GAAP and IFRS standards would be a plus.
• Strong knowledge of SAP HANA and knowledge of OneStream would be a plus.
• Experience in preparing monthly and annual closings.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and analytical thinking.
