Job summary

Valley Health System in Paramus, NJ seeks a CT Technologist to operate the CT scanner, verify patient identity, and process scans for PACS/RIS archives. The role requires ARRT CT certification, NJ license, CPR/BLS, and prior CT experience is preferred.

Shift: Saturday, 7:00 am–5:30 pm with one holiday per year; salary is competitive and benefits are provided. Completion of an accredited radiology program is required, with an advanced CT certification within one year for current employees.

Qualifications

• ARRT CT certification required; NJ DEP state license.
• CPR certification (American Heart Association); BLS required.
• Completion from an accredited Radiology Technology program; CT certification within 1 year if internal applicant.

Responsibilities

• Prepare for and operate CT scanner per physician orders.
• Assist patients onto scanner and verify identification.
• Select patient from worklist; archive exams in PACS and RIS.
• Maintain orderly facilities and stay current with CT procedures.
