Responsibilities
As a successful CO+I Critical Environment Program Manager, your success will be measured by:
Data Center Operations
- Ensuring compliance with data center business units and service-level policies.
- Engaging with appropriate teams and resources to execute tasks or projects.
- Managing programs associated with your area of responsibility.
- Demonstrating conscientiousness on cost adherence, maintaining reasonable costs, and contributing to staying within budget.
- Following and adhering to safety and security policies and procedures, reporting issues immediately.
- Participating in Root Cause Analysis (RCA) processes as appropriate.
Service Delivery
- Maximizing Critical Environment (CE) availability in collaboration with landlord partners at leased data centers and ensuring operational efficiency.
- Overseeing day-to-day operations and maintenance of mechanical and electrical equipment, including review of MOP/SOP/EOP, RCAs, FMEAs, change governance, and risk mitigation.
- Reducing high-impact and human-error CE incidents year over year.
- Delivering on cost and energy efficiency initiatives.
- Supporting delivery of the data center’s Emergency Preparedness and Response plans and acting as an escalation point for facilities issues.
- Coordinating, planning, scheduling, and supervising CE audits and compliance verification.
- Ensuring routine reporting for power, temperature, humidity, and SLA monitoring.
- Establishing strong relationships with engineering groups and landlord partners, contributing to MBRs and QBRs.
- Collaborating with regional and global peers to share best practices across the data center portfolio.
