Goldman Sachs in Paris is seeking a Strat – Embedded Control Strats to design and maintain controls for high-speed trading platforms, while documenting controls for internal and external stakeholders. You’ll collaborate across teams to turn business requirements into robust technical solutions and support risk and compliance processes.

The role requires a strong CS/math background and proficiency in Python/Java/C++.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of electronic/algorithmic or equity derivatives trading systems and controls.
• Strong documentation skills for complex technical processes.
• Solid academic background in CS or a quantitative field.
• Understanding of European market structure and regulatory landscape.
• Experience across trading, development, testing, operations or risk frameworks.
• Proficiency in Python, Java or C++.
• Interest in global financial regulation developments.
• Ability to communicate clearly and lead technical discussions.
