ixolabs.ai is seeking an accounting expert for a remote engagement. You will develop scenarios and reference solutions touching audit, tax filings, and period-end reporting, applying GAAP/IFRS as appropriate.

Ideal candidates hold a CPA/CA/ACCA/CMA/EA or equivalent credential with at least three years in accounting operations and familiarity with QuickBooks, NetSuite, SAP, Oracle and Excel. Compensation is $85/hr USD for a US-based remote engagement.

What you will contribute

Create cases with enough context to assess both the answer and the method used to reach it.

• Develop statement-preparation, journal-entry and reconciliation tasks, including the checks needed to catch a plausible but incorrect result.
• Write examples involving audit work, tax filings, period-end closing and internal controls within your professional specialty.
• Provide structured reference solutions that connect source records, accounting treatment and the resulting work product.
• Compare AI responses for numerical accuracy, standards compliance and the quality of the accounting judgment.
• Explain corrections in actionable written feedback and collaborate asynchronously with researchers on ambiguous cases.

The deliverables are realistic scenarios, reasoned examples, scored evaluations and feedback that can improve future model responses. GAAP and IFRS should be applied where relevant to the case, rather than treated as interchangeable labels.

Credentials and experience

A CPA, CA, ACCA, CMA, EA or equivalent professional accounting credential is required. The ideal profile includes at least three years in accounting, audit, tax, bookkeeping or finance operations, plus a bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or a related subject. These ideal-profile indicators are distinct from the required professional credential.

You should be familiar with accounting tools such as QuickBooks, NetSuite, SAP, Oracle and Excel, and be able to write clear explanations with close attention to detail. State your specialty and credential in your application; IXO may request a short work sample relevant to that practice area.

Engagement and pay

This US-based opportunity is a remote IXO expert engagement paying $85/hr USD. Work is organized around defined tasks, with the applicable hourly rate, scope, schedule and assessment steps agreed before starting. Strong performance may support consideration for review or lead responsibilities, without a promised promotion or assignment.
