Job summary

Arm interns work on energy-efficient CPU hardware design using Arm’s codebase, models and RTL flows. You will own a specific technical topic with guidance from an experienced engineer and regularly present findings before delivering a final report.

The internship lasts 5 to 6 months in France (Valbonne region) starting in 2027. It requires enrolment in a higher education degree (Convention de Stage) and offers a competitive €27,000 per annum salary plus strong on-the-job learning and mentoring

Qualifications

• Are in final year of a Master's (BAC+5) and available for 5–6 months
• Understanding computer architecture fundamentals (microprocessors, CPU microarchitecture)
• Familiarity with HDL (VHDL/Verilog/SystemVerilog)
• Experience with Linux and at least one language (C/C++/Python)
• Ability to analyse problems and communicate ideas clearly

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of a technical topic with mentorship
• Explore microarchitecture limitations and alternative solutions
• Develop or extend models and RTL changes and evaluate impact on metrics
