A leading fintech organization in France is seeking a Technical Lead to oversee the development of a core platform built on PHP8 and Symfony 6.4. The successful candidate will manage AWS infrastructure and drive the technical roadmap for an API-first transformation, while also mentoring junior developers. Key Responsibilities

Technical Leadership (60%)

Own and maintain a core platform built on PHP8 / Symfony 6.4, with Tailwind CSS frontend. YES , we still need you to code a bit : )

Manage AWS Lambda infrastructure (using Bref.sh) and PostgreSQL database

Maintain and optimize a fully automated CI / CD pipeline (production deployed from master)

Oversee monitoring stack (Kibana + Sentry) to ensure system reliability

Manage external vendor relationship for HR connector maintenance (representing 60% of codebase)

Ensure continued ISO 27001 compliance in all technical decisions

Mentor and manage an apprentice developer

Product Strategy (40%)

Drive the technical roadmap for a white-label / API-first transformation

Conduct regular calls with clients and API integrators to gather requirements and feedback

Translate business needs into technical specifications and architectural decisions

Define and prioritize features based on customer value and technical feasibility

Design API contracts and integration patterns for the partner ecosystem

Balance technical debt management with new feature development

Technical Stack

Backend: PHP8, Symfony 6.4

Frontend: Tailwind CSS, minimal vanilla JavaScript

Mobile: React Native (web app wrapper)

Infrastructure: AWS Lambda (Bref.sh), PostgreSQL, Terraform

DevOps: Fully automated CI / CD, Kibana, Sentry
