Breega seeks a Chief Product & Technology Officer to spearhead the end-to-end technical execution for an AI-native internal infrastructure. You will architect a robust data lake on Google Cloud, drive RAG pipelines, and orchestrate agentic workflows across multiple teams.

You will lead change management, governance, and documentation while aligning security and scalability with Breega’s growth across Europe and Africa. Strong leadership and 7+ years of relevant experience are essential.

Qualifications

• Seven+ years as senior freelance or independent consultant in AI/data projects.
• Proven track record in change management with non-technical teams.
• Experience in investment funds, banking, or fintech is a strong advantage.
• References on live AI/data projects (demos or case studies preferred).
• Strong communication skills and ability to translate complex tech to non-tech stakeholders.

Responsabilités

• Audit and centralize historical company data into a scalable data lake on Google Cloud.
• Design and deploy a data lake on BigQuery tailored to VC workflows.
• Build ingestion, cleaning, and transformation pipelines (ETL/ELT).
• Orchestrate vectorization of unstructured data and deploy robust RAG architecture.
• Design cross-functional AI agents and team-specific agents integrated with Affinity, Workspace, and Slack.
• Lead change management with onboarding sessions and roadmap prioritization.
• Maintain data governance, GDPR compliance, and secure access controls.

High Level mission:

As a Chief Product & Technology Officer, you will spearhead the end-to-end technical execution, change management, and documentation required to build an AI-native internal infrastructure from scratch for a leading European VC firm. By architecting a robust data lake, advanced RAG pipelines, and multi-team agentic workflows, you will industrialize the firm's data assets to unlock measurable value across all operational teams.

Responsibilities:

Data Lake & Architecture

• - Audit and centralize all historical company data (documents, financial data, CRM records, emails, meeting notes…)
• - Design and deploy a data lake on Google Cloud / BigQuery tailored to a VC firm's workflows
• - Build ingestion, cleaning, and transformation pipelines (ETL/ELT)

Vectorization & RAG

• - Orchestrate the vectorization of unstructured documents and data
• - Deploy a performant and secure RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) architecture
• - Select appropriate embedding and generation models (Claude, OpenAI, open-source)
• - Ensure data confidentiality and access segmentation by team and by fund

Agentic AI — Cross-team & Team-specific Agents

• - Design and deploy cross-functional AI agents (deal flow, portfolio monitoring, LP relations)
• - Build team-specific agents: investment, finance, ops, comms
• - Integrate agents into existing tools: Affinity, Google Workspace, Slack
• - Maintain, iterate, and improve agents based on user feedback

Change Management & Adoption

• - Run onboarding and training sessions for each team
• - Identify high-ROI use cases and prioritize the roadmap with stakeholders
• - Document new agentic processes and support their adoption across teams
• - Specifically train the Head of Finance on deployed AI tools and workflows

Security, Governance and Documentation

• - Identify risks, control AI usage/connection related to risks
• - Write and maintain procedure manuals and runbooks for each agent and pipeline
• - Implement clear data governance (access control, versioning, audit trail, GDPR compliance)
• - Ensure ongoing maintenance and evolution of the full technical stack

Competencies:

Ideal Background

Technical Skills

• - Strong command of the AI/LLM ecosystem: RAG, embeddings, agent orchestration (LangChain, LlamaIndex, Claude API…)
• - Solid data engineering background: Python, BigQuery, SQL, ETL/ELT pipelines
• - Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and Google Workspace
• - Ability to design secure and scalable data architectures
• - Knowledge of CRM tools and their AI integrations (Affinity is a plus)
