Job summary

Airbus Helicopters in Marignane, France, seeks a 3D Digital Transformation Leader to define the full 3D vision, build an end-to-end architecture, and drive Change Management across Design, Manufacturing, and Certification. You will coordinate interfaces with Operations, Support, and Dassault Systèmes, leading agile projects and secure leadership alignment.

The role requires senior PLM/3D MBd experience, strong stakeholder management, and excellent English communication; French/German is a plus.

Qualifications

• Fluent English required; French and/or German are a plus.
• Senior background in Process, Methods & Tools related to PLM (detailed design, configuration management, certification).
• Mandatory experience in Full 3D / Model-Based Definition and functional architecture modelisation.

• Define the Full 3D vision and elaborate the technical referential for future Process, Methods, and Tools across Design, Manufacturing, Support, and Certification.
• Build and optimize an end-to-end functional architecture to formalize the engineering data model and deliver the fully digitized definition dossier.
• Coordinate activities across work packages, managing interfaces with Operations, Support, and Dassault Systèmes as a facilitator.
• Manage the project baseline (budgets, resource demands, gates, business cases) along with risks and opportunities for targeted helicopter programs.
• Lead internal communication and Change Management, including training, coaching, and deployment within engineering métiers.

Airbus Helicopters is looking for a 3D Digital Transformation Leader (m/f) to join the Operations Enablers department based in Marignane, France. Your future missions:

• Define the Full 3D vision and elaborate the technical referential for future Process, Methods, and Tools across Design, Manufacturing, Support, and Certification.
• Build and optimize an end-to-end functional architecture to formalize the engineering data model and deliver the fully digitized definition dossier.
• Coordinate activities across different work packages, managing interfaces with Operations, Support, and Dassault Systèmes as a facilitator to unlock issues.
• Manage the project baseline (budgets, resource demands, gates, business cases) along with the risks and opportunities for targeted helicopter programs.
• Lead the internal communication plan and Change Management activities, including training, coaching, and deployment within the engineering métiers.

Your profile:

Proven experiences in complex project management (AGILE methodologies are an advantage). Senior background in Process, Methods & Tools related to PLM (detailed design, configuration management, certification), with mandatory experience in Full 3D / Model-Based Definition and functional architecture modelisation. Language skills: Fluent English is required; fluent French and/or German is a plus. Soft skills: Strong leadership for stakeholder management, customer-oriented focus, excellent communication, and an open, problem-solving mindset. (Note: Business travel is to be expected and you will need to be willing to travel accordingly. This position requires security clearance or requires being eligible for clearance by recognized authorities.)
