Purpose of the job

We are looking for a Corporate Compliance Officer to lead and oversee Besins Healthcare’s global compliance program. Reporting to the General Counsel, with a dotted line to the Compliance Committee, this role is key to promoting integrity, transparency, and accountability across all regions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the development, implementation, and monitoring of global compliance policies and programs.
  • Identify and mitigate compliance risks, conducting investigations and recommending corrective actions as needed.
  • Deliver training and advisory support to employees, management, and regional teams on compliance matters.
  • Conduct audits and continuous monitoring to ensure adherence to legal and regulatory standards.
  • Organize and support quarterly Compliance Committee meetings; maintain documentation and track open issues.
  • Represent Besins Healthcare externally in professional associations and regulatory forums.
Qualifications & Experience
  • Legal background (LLB or equivalent) with at least 5 years of experience in compliance or corporate governance, including proven success in the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry.
  • Advanced certification such as CCEP strongly preferred.
  • Proven track record in implementing compliance programs, audits, investigations, and training initiatives.
  • Exceptional communication and influencing skills, with the ability to advise executive leadership.
  • Commercial awareness and the ability to make informed decisions under pressure.
  • Fluent in English; additional languages (e.g., French) are a plus.
