A leading energy company is seeking an experienced HSE Coordinator in Boulogne-Billancourt. The role involves ensuring compliance with HSE regulations, conducting site inspections, and supporting HSE initiatives. Ideal candidates will have a degree in engineering, relevant certifications, and experience in the Oil & Gas sector. Fluency in English and French is essential, alongside strong communication skills. This position offers an opportunity to work independently under the supervision of a Project Manager.

We are seeking an HSE Coordinator / Officer to perform the services described in this specification.

PROFILE

The ideal candidate is an engineering professional with experience in Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) management within industrial or Oil & Gas projects.

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, HSE Management, Industrial Risk Management, or an equivalent technical discipline.

Additional training or certification in Occupational Health & Safety (e.g., NEBOSH, IOSH, ISO 45001 Lead Auditor, or equivalent) is an asset.

Previous experience in construction yards, fabrication, or port activities is preferred.

MISSIONS

The services are to be carried out independently, under the supervision of the Project Manager, and in coordination with other disciplines.

The main tasks include :
  • Act as the client's HSE Site Representative, monitoring subcontractor activities to ensure compliance with contractual and legal HSE requirements, and reporting to the HSE Scope Lead.
  • Participate in or lead site HSE inspections and audits, ensuring follow‑up and closure of corrective actions.
  • Participate in incident investigations and review site HSE reports.
  • Support the communication and implementation of HSE campaigns and lessons learned to subcontractors.
  • Ensure effective written and verbal communication, including proficient use of MS Office tools (Word, Excel, etc.).
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with subcontractor site management and supervisors, acting as the client's HSE representative on site.
  • Demonstrate strong communication skills (verbal and written), including the ability to convey information clearly, promote understanding, and support sound decision‑making.
COMPETENCIES

For the performance of these services, the Subcontractor must propose a candidate with the following skills and experience in the Oil & Gas sector :

Fluency in English and French (both written and spoken).

Good knowledge of IOGP Report 577.

Familiarity with national and international regulations governing yard fabrication activities, lifting operations, and port operations.
