Summary of Position:
The CIEE Paris Internship Program Coordinator is responsible for the planning, organization and execution of all CIEE internship programs in Paris. The Internship Program Coordinator will conduct pre-placement meetings for internship candidates and arrange their placements with local companies. The coordinator will help maintain and expand a professional network of local partners for the internship programs. The coordinator will report to the CIEE Paris Program Director and will collaborate with the Student Life and Academics teams to support students in Paris.
Primary Responsibilities
- Source, maintain and expand network of local company partners for internships and related programming.
- Schedule and conduct pre-placement meetings and company interviews and monitor candidates’ progress.
- Review and assist students with preparing and improving CVs, cover letters and internship program applications.
- Prepare, update and distribute pre-departure and professional development materials for internship students.
- Maintain and update a database of internship and community partners in Salesforce.
- Coordinate the scheduling of guest speakers and professional development events related to internship programs. Accompany internship students to company site visits and networking events.
- Draw up internship agreements and ensure they are signed by interns and company placements by the start of internships.
- Lead internship orientation. Support student arrivals, orientations, cultural activities and excursions as needed for internship programs.
- Support students with their daily life and well-being.
- Complete administrative tasks for internships and experiential learning programs, including spreadsheet maintenance and financial reporting.
- Collaborate with the Internship Seminar instructor to share information regarding interns’ experiences and to maintain the highest standards of quality and academic excellence for internship participants.
- Participate in the emergency staff-on-duty telephone rotation system.

Qualifications
Bac +3 minimum
