Responsibilities
  • Exploitation, maintenance and continuity of service: elaborate the preventive maintenance schedule for technical infrastructure under their domain, implement it with all relevant service providers, closely monitor operations with a focus on minimizing risk during interventions, and report on activities, including curative actions that enable structural fixes.
  • Perform complex maintenance and repair tasks on GTB (GTB = Building Management and Supervision) systems and automation.
  • Execute daily technical controls and diagnostics of equipment, take preventive measures, perform emergency corrective actions, and involve qualified service providers when needed.
  • Draft operating procedures, prevention plans, and work permits with rigorous standards.
  • Ensure the onboarding and supervision of external companies, verify their authorizations, methods, and tools.
  • Organize, supervise and recertify external contractor work.
  • Define, compile, maintain and inventory critical spare parts.
  • Implement improvement plans arising from audits or incidents affecting infrastructure.
  • Maintain knowledge and practice across all sites to intervene autonomously and, when needed, lead maintenance providers; manage daily GTB platforms and automation in data centers.
  • Prepare procedure notebooks to make different systems operable by all users.
  • In relation to their hierarchy, drive infrastructure upgrades (studies, group validation, realization quotes, project planning, risk studies, operating procedures, etc.).
  • If applicable, manage projects in collaboration with site managers and in coordination with support resources.
Qualifications
  • Technical education (BAC+2 to BAC+5) in automation and/or industrial IT.
  • Knowledge of programmable logic controllers such as Schneider TSX, Allen-Bradley, Wago.
  • Knowledge of development and supervision tools such as WonderWare, Trend, Schneider Getex, PcVue, AVEVA.
  • Proven experience in control systems design, operations, maintenance and project planning; experience in a sensitive operating environment is preferable.
  • Technical versatility; strong written and spoken English to independently manage crisis communications and incident reports.
  • Attention to detail and action follow-through; proficiency with standard office tools; strong communication with third parties and internal clients.
  • Proactive with a drive for improvements in operation and processes; strong writing skills.
  • Ability to propose structural improvements in terms of operation and processes.
